Athens is one of the oldest cities in the world having a recorded history of at least 3,000 years. At the same time it is a modern city, being the economic, financial, industrial, political and cultural center of Greece. Mixing historical interest with a cosmopolitan way of life and natural beauty, it has long been a magnet for visitors.

 

The venue for the conference is the Athens Hilton Hotel, which offers spectacular unobstructed views of the Acropolis and the remarkable hill of Lycabetus. It is also situated on one of the capital’s most fashionable avenues, close to city center and the National Art Gallery.

 

The goal of the Congress Committee has been to organise a meeting of exceptional quality. The scientific programme includes lectures by internationally renowned paediatric anaesthesiologists, satellite symposia, free paper presentations and workshops. A trade exhibition will present the most recent advances in drugs, equipment and techniques for paediatric anaesthesia. Our hope is to provide a European and International forum for the presentation of research and the sharing of expertise and experience.
