This tour emphasizes the artistic and cultural side of Athens and gives you the opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. During the City tour our guide will explain the important monuments, buildings and exhibits of all major museums you pass by. Also, you will enjoy a better view of the modern side of the city just before visiting one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Acropolis which was built 2.500 years ago. You will visit Propylea, Temple of Athena Nike, Erechteion and Parthenon. Furthermore, you will have free time to visit the Acropolis Museum on your own or admire the magnificent view of Athens, “lying" at your own feet.

Driving through the main highway arriving in Delphi “the Navel of the Earth” you will visit the Museum with the famous bronze Charioteer, the statue of Antinoos, the ancient sanctuary and all the renowned ruins of the Omphalos (Navel) of the ancient world.

You will feel the mystery in the Temple of Apollo where Pythia was seated giving out her predictions of the future. See the “Castalia spring” with the two monumental fountains receiving water from the spring for the last 3000 years.

After the guided tour we will enjoy our lunch in a traditional taverna, Next stop the picturesque village of Arachova famous for its handmade carpets and quilts. Then we will continue passing through the cities of Levadia, Thieves and arriving in Athens.

Aegina:

Famous for its pistachionut and pine tree groves and its more that 3000

years of history (Temple of Afaia, built on the top of the Hill).

Poros:

Typical white and blue colored houses and quiet family resorts.

Hydra:

A unique picturesque island village famous for the architecture of its houses and the cobblestone paved narrow streets. Time to have fun with a donkey-ride, as no cars are allowed on the island.
